Cecilia became intrigued by the travel industry while growing up in Chicago.

“I was always fascinated by maps and about traveling around the world,” she said.

So it was an easy thing for her to pick a career path. She got a degree in the travel and airline industry with a minor in computer science from the Northwestern Business College in Chicago.

Three weeks after graduation, Cecilia got a job with Iberia Airlines of Spain, where she worked for five years. Iberia Airlines moved its operations to Miami, and Cecelia decided not to move with the company. She worked for a small travel agency until she got married and moved to Columbus.

Cecilia continued to work in the travel industry, first at the now-defunct Travel World in Columbus and Carlson-Wagonlit in Fort Benning.

Almost 14 years ago, she found her way to Travels By Donna, where you’ll find her happily working with all kinds of people, sending them all over the world.

She loves working in the industry, being able to help people with their travel plans. Cecilia also loves traveling herself so she can tell clients the best places to visit.
